Risk before story

Every studio day follows the same sequence. Narrative about the chart waits until the risk frame is complete—or the idea is discarded.

Name the setup without the trade

Mark the structure you see—break, retest, range edge, or pattern completion—in plain language. No buy or sell words yet. If you cannot name it cleanly, the card stops here.

Freeze invalidation

Write the level or condition that makes the idea wrong. Tie it to structure on your timeframe, not to a hope price. This line becomes the stop reference for sizing.

Size from risk, not conviction

Choose an account risk percent first. Derive unit size from the distance between your intended entry zone and the invalidation already written. Wide stops mean smaller size.

Reward path or stand aside

Name the next meaningful structure for a target. If the path is crowded or undefined, check the stand-aside box. Only then may optional entry language appear on the card.
