Sizing against stop distance, not conviction
Clinic notes on linking account risk percent to the distance between entry idea and technical stop.
Conviction does not resize an account. In the Position Sizing Clinic we calculate share or unit size from a pre-chosen risk percent and the stop distance already written on the risk card.
When the stop is wide, size shrinks. When students feel “sure,” we still run the same arithmetic. The goal is a repeatable habit, not a larger bet for a prettier chart.
